An illustrated series of recreations of popular scenes from Disney films. There is a lack of representation in western media of Desi (those originating from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh) characters.

I took these popular scenes and illustrated Disney prince's and princesses as desi and created a new desi spin off of their outfits and accessories.

My goal was for people to look at these pieces and see themselves in it. I would love for them to imagine a disney movie with two brown leads.

My 'Desi Rapunzel' piece gained a lot of traction on twitter with over 80 thousand likes, and 100,000 interactions.
